Barcelona not negotiating for Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Despite reports that Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is back on Barcelona’s radar, the club is allegedly not interested in signing him. Moreover, despite president Joan Laporta’s announcement on Monday that the club’s debts total €1.35 billion, reports in the UK and Spain say that Barcelona is keeping an eye on both Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

In addition, Barcelona has been linked with a swap deal including Philippe Coutinho, with the club willing to part-exchange the Brazilian for Aubameyang. However, according to Fabrizio Romano, claims that Barcelona wants Aubameyang are inaccurate, and the club is instead focused on offloading players.

Further, before and after Sunday’s win against Real Sociedad, Ronald Koeman stated that he would prefer to recruit a new striker before the transfer window closes.
